Event Contract Trading Guide
Step 1: Access the Event Contract Trading Page
Log in to the Global HibtHub mobile app, go to [Contracts], and select [Event Contracts].
Step 2: Select the Asset You Want to Trade
Step 3: Set the Expiration Date
Select your desired contract expiration date.
Step 4: Enter the Trading Quantity
Enter the quantity you wish to trade (USDT denominated).
After entering the quantity, you will see the bonus amount (USDT denominated), which represents your potential profit.
The amount paid in the transaction is the potential loss amount.
Step 5: Select the Direction
Select [Buy Long]: You believe the index price will rise after expiration.
Select [Buy Short]: You believe the index price will fall after expiration.
Step 6: Confirm the Trade
If you have trade confirmation enabled, a pop-up window will prompt you to review the trade details. Click [Confirm] to submit your trade. If you have trade confirmation disabled, no prompt will appear, and the trade will be submitted directly.
Step 7: Order Execution
Once you confirm the transaction, the order will be executed the second after you place the order. The opening price will be the same as the index price in that second. After the order is executed, you can see your transaction information in [Current Positions]. For example, if a user places an order at 17:59:59, with a time unit of 10 minutes, the order's opening time will be 18:00:00, the opening price will be the index price at 18:00:00, and the expiration time will be 18:10:00.
Step 8: Waiting for the Event Contract to Expiry
After a successful transaction, wait for the event contract to expire.
Step 9: Event Contract Expiry
After the event contract expires, if the prediction was correct, you will receive the corresponding profit; if the prediction was incorrect, you will lose your opening position amount.
If it's a break-even (the expiration price and the opening price are the same), the principal will be returned.
Step 10: View Closed Positions
After the transaction expires, go to [Closed Positions] to view the results.
